TENANT INFORMATION,     ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Finding a property may seem initially quite daunting for yourself, partner or even your family to rent. Fenton Board are here to make the whole process as easy and stress free as possible.
Which area best suits my needs?
Once we have found you a property to rent, we will ask you to fill out an application form. A fee of £55 for each applicant (non refundable) is payable upon application.

You will be required to pass a credit check and the referencing process will vary in timescale according to the type of application made. Once you have passed the credit checks we will arrange a move in date and a convenient time for you to sign the Tenancy Agreement. Anyone over the age of 18 must be on the Tenancy Agreement

At the point of signing the Tenancy Agreement, you will also receive the following documentation –
A COPY OF THE ANNUAL LANDLORDS GAS CERTIFICATE,
TENANCY AGREEMENT AND SECTION 21 NOTICE
(LEGAL NOTICE STATING THE VACATION DATE)
INVENTORY (WHERE APPLICABLE)
BUSINESS CARD DETAILS OF YOUR PERSONAL LETTINGS CO-ORDINATOR
STANDING ORDER MANDATE
LANDLORDS DETAILS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE (IF REQUIRED)


Once you have moved into your property, you will be required to take meter readings for all utilities and inform the relevant utility companies of your new occupation. On the sign up day we will always ask for one months rent and bond to be paid in advance. We accept cash or bankers draft.

On all our properties managed by Fenton Board we have a team of contractors should faults or repairs need attending to during your tenancy (after confirmation with the landlord).
